Every person must submit their own Claim, except when the Claimant has an eligible representative who can submit a Claim on their behalf.
The situations where a representative can submit a Claim on behalf of a Claimant are:
- The Claimant is a Person Under Disability; or
- The Claimant has passed away.
A Person Under Disability is someone who is not mentally capable of managing their finances or making reasonable decisions about their legal and financial affairs.
In these cases, the individual submitting the Claim is called a representative.
