Regional Liaisons work directly with First Nations and First Nation organizations, using their experience and knowledge of the region to provide support and guidance.

Liaisons help ensure communities stay informed about the Settlement and the Claims Process for each Class. They also keep up to date on the administration of the Settlement Agreement to provide accurate and timely information.

As part of their role, they attend regional meetings, offer briefings on the Settlement, share progress updates and answer questions from First Nations leaders.
